Tyrannosaurus rex

The thirteen-meter-long tyrannosaurus was a two-legged predatory large lizard with a massive head and strong jaws, equipped with teeth over 20 centimeters long. The Tyranosaurus rex looked very menacing, but he could barely use his short forelegs equipped with only two claws, because they didn't even reach his mouth. With a height of almost seven meters and a length of up to thirteen meters, the tyrannosaurus rex was no good hunter, but a scavenger who ate what left the other animals lying. He had more than fifty teeth up to 15 centimeters long, which he did not use for chewing but for tearing, as he swallowed his food in large pieces. To improve the perception of depth in search of food, the eyes of the tyrannosaurus rex pointed forward, so that the fields of view of both eyes crossed. If this huge predator lost one of its dagger-shaped teeth, it grew new within a few weeks. The tyrannosaurus has a movable lower jaw. Dimensions: 28 x 14 x 9.5 cm.
